Privacy Policy

TrueStruct (“TrueStruct,” “we,” “us”) provides construction drawing-reconciliation software via the web and the TrueStruct iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to truestruct.com, app.truestruct.com, and the TrueStruct mobile app.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication credentials, and your organization/team membership.
- Content you provide — the drawing sets (PDFs/images), field photos, project names, and related data you upload to reconcile. These are processed to extract dimensions, openings, schedules, and to flag discrepancies.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; we keep a customer/subscription reference.
- Camera & AR — on devices with the feature, the camera (and LiDAR, where present) is used to capture sheets, run field checks, and take on-site AR measurements. Camera frames are used to provide these features.
- Usage & diagnostics — basic activity needed to operate the service (e.g., sign-in events, session activity). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use information
- To provide reconciliation, RFIs, 3D/AR views, and related features.
- To authenticate you and secure your account and organization data.
- To process subscriptions and send transactional email (account, billing, RFIs).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
Service providers
We share data only with vendors that help us run the service, under their terms, including: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe (payments), SendGrid/Twilio (email and messaging), Anthropic (AI extraction/assistance of your drawing content), and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain your account and project content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us; some records may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
Security
Access to your organization’s data is restricted by authentication and row-level security. We use reputable infrastructure providers and encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices & rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Children
TrueStruct is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app or by email.
